Tamara, a local photographer, has two young sons and is an avid supporter of shopping local. Upon "meeting" one another on Instagram, we quickly realized that our goals and styles matched up perfectly. Teaming up with her has been such a pleasure, and we have many other plans in the works already. 

Tamara Clark Photography and I spent Sunday morning in Langley with 6 adorable baby and toddler models. We were SO thankful that the weather cooperated, as we had perfect lighting with the mix of sun and cloud.

Paige, the owner and creator of Little Bean + Co, had an idea. Sparked by her honeymoon in Tofino and her daughter's nickname, Finley-bean, she had the idea of opening up Vancouver's first "original mobile children's boutique". After retrofitting and stylizing a 1970's boler, she took off as another creative local vendor and can be found at many of your local markets and pop-up shops!

Ever since Hudson was a newborn, I have shopped at chain retailers for jackets, parkas, and sweaters, and ALL of these items are reduced right now. I always shop at the end of each season, and stock up for next year. I did this again just this past week, so I thought I'd share some of my tips and tricks with you...
