Tamara Clark and I had a vision. Our vision was to collaborate with a variety of local shops and vendors to create complete outfits that come to life on baby and toddler models. It was nearly 2 months in the making, so it was amazing seeing it all come together on March 5 in Langley, BC.

Tamara, a local photographer, has two young sons and is an avid supporter of shopping local. Upon "meeting" one another on Instagram, we quickly realized that our goals and styles matched up perfectly. Teaming up with her has been such a pleasure, and we have many other plans in the works already.

We couldn't be more proud of the models that we chose for our first shoot. They all did a fabulous job, and showcased all of the items with ease. I mean, jelly beans were definitely used for bribes as the morning went on, but overall they were extremely patient, cooperative, and adorably photogenic.

The 15 local participating shops we're so generous in donating items that fit with our vision. All vendors create high-quality, ethically made, made in Canada items. It was a pleasure working with each and every local business involved, and we are thrilled for what the future has in store.
