What Vagabond Babe is all about:

Shannon prides herself in designing infant & toddler unisex modern apparel. From cute onesies, flat brim snapbacks, or pullovers, Vagabond Babe pieces toddler life and cool together. Shannon tests everything on her own kids. As her son is hard on his clothes, Shannon feels good about a product if it passes the 'Dublin Test'.

How Vagabond Babe got its start:

Vagabond Babe got its start shortly after Shannon had her son. She found it challenging to find trendy kids clothing, especially for little boys. She wanted to dress him in flat brim hats, cool monochrome graphic tees, and harems, but quickly discovered the lack of such things in stores. She then noticed a ton of other moms on instagram who were designing and selling their own products and thought, "why can't I do that?!" It's been an epic journey so far... learning a lot, crying a little, and a whole bunch of fun. Shannon started when she and her family were living in Vancouver, and now runs everything out of their home in Squamish, B.C.

How Vagabond Babe operates:

Shannon comes up with all of the design ideas and inspiration from random travels, to hanging out with her kids. She works on designs herself, and also has the help of her amazing friend/graphic designer/fellow biz mom @feelinitdecals. Shannon has a heat press in her Vagabond Babe office, which she uses for all vinyl designs, and has a wonderful local screen printer who helps with all screened designs. Her latest focus is to produce some new hats that will be 100% Canadian made, but she want to ensure they are perfect before being released.

"Life is crazy, busy, wonderful and a wild ride. I love being a mama to my two kiddos, and running my business allows me to stay at home with them.
